Be prepared for food tastings, surfing, and some fun in the sun at the Huntington Beach 24th Annual Duck-A-Thone. The three-day fundraising event has a new theme every year and since 2016 marks the Duckathon’s 24th Anniversary, the theme is ‘Super Star Heroes’. You'll be kicking things off with the Food and Wine Tasting reception by the sea, an event held in honor of police, fireman and lifeguards who help the community. Then, it’s time for a weekend of fun around Huntington Beach Pier Plaza with great food, arts and crafts, and prizes.

Feel free to bring the kids for the day so they can play in the Kid Zone with bounce houses and games. They can also decorate their very own retired rubber duck. Sample food from local vendors and shop for arts and crafts handmade by area artists. You’ll also find booths that offer free health screenings and can attend the wellness festival for to learn more about staying well.

Don’t forget to buy a duck! You can name your duck and toss it off the pier during the duck drop and watch it race off the shore with thousands of other ducks.
