The Irvine Korean Cultural Festival

About 5 month(s) ago by Ayres Hotels

The first Korean immigrants arrived in the U.S. on January 13, 1903. One hundred and two Koreans traveled across the Pacific Ocean on the S.S. Gaelic ship and arrived in Honolulu, Hawaii, where they began their journey to a better life in America. Today, with a large population of second generation Korean-Americans, the Annual Irvine Korean Cultural Festival helps spread Korea’s beautiful traditions and flavors.

Experience the dynamics and vibrancy of Korean culture on Saturday, May 14th at the Irvine Korean Cultural Festival. The festival will take place at the Irvine Festival Center between 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., leap into the Korean world through cultural performances from groups who hail from all over the world, divine cuisine samples, and educational programs.
