Costa Mesa -The Costa Mesa Chamber of Commerce and South Coast Metro Alliance recognized individual achievement and corporate leadership in Costa Mesa and South Coast Metro at the sixth Annual Hall of Fame Awards, which took place Friday, April 15 at The Westin South Coast Plaza.
This year's awardees include Donald Ayres, Jr. and the Ayres Family, receiving the Corporate Growth & Achievement Award in recognition of 100 years of business in Southern California, and Bob Robins of Theodore Robins Ford, receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award for his many outstanding contributions to the community, including service to Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian.
Also honored was the law firm of Rutan & Tucker LLP and Partner A. Patrick Munoz, receiving the Community Spirit Award for assisting local health and welfare organizations and the cultural arts, including the new Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall. Mr. Munoz has been involved with the Hoag Hospital Foundation for many years. On behalf of the Youth Employment Service organization, Lynne Graham, executive director, received the Service to Youth Award. The organization has helped thousands of young people with programs that increase employability, career choices and quality of life.
"We are delighted to recognize corporations, community organizations and individuals in Costa Mesa that have unselfishly used their expertise and success to help others," said Diane Pritchett, executive director, South Coast Metro Alliance.
"Costa Mesa and South Coast Metro are home to extraordinary individuals and organizations as demonstrated by the quality of recipients we honored at the Hall of Fame Awards again this year," said Costa Mesa Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Ed Fawcett.
