1.Sugar ‘n Spice

Located on Balboa Island, this popular frozen banana spot has been around since 1945. For over 70 years they've served their famous frozen banana, along with soft serve ice cream, shakes, smoothies, malts, floats, sundaes and drum sticks. They boast the one-and-only "Original" frozen banana on the island.

2.Rollin' Creamery

New to Orange County, this Fountain Valley location is the place to go for Thai-style rolled up ice cream. They offer a variety of signature creations that are made-to-order right before your eyes. You simply pick your flavor and watch as the experts flatten your ice cream and shape it into little rolls.

3.Vitaly Caffe

Local Italian owners have brought a part of Italy to OC. Located in The Camp, this trendy location offers tub after beautiful tub of hand-crafted gelatos and sorbets. Can't decide on a flavor? No problem…they offer a Gelato Flight including tiny cones to sample a variety of flavors.

4.Strickland's

This ice cream shop continues to surprise customers with its ever-changing array of flavors. Their "Flavor of the Day" includes four fresh flavors to choose from, along with other ice cream classics. Strickland's is located in Irvine and tucked away in a shopping center frequented by local UCI students.

5.Afters Ice Cream

Home to the famous Milky Bun, Afters has taken Orange County by storm. Their famous concoction includes the ultimate mix of a warm, gooey doughnut filled with hand-crafted ice cream and sealed in the oven for a unique combination that will rock your taste buds.

6.Ruby's Shake Shack

This iconic location is a cliff-top fixture on Pacific Coast Highway above Crystal Cove Beach. Beach goers and ice cream lovers have enjoyed the panoramic ocean views and the famous milkshakes at Ruby's for over 40 years.
