Disneyland California Adventure’s Food and Wine Festival will make a roaring, month-long return. The highly anticipated event will start in April and will take place every weekend until May. The celebration will be a chance for the entire family to fully experience the Disney magic with a special, Californian twist.
The beloved tradition originally began at Walt Disney World’s Epcot Center in Orlando, Florida and branched off to California’s Disneyland Resort. Disneyland Resort fans were saddened when the festival announced its several-year hiatus in 2010, so its big comeback brings much excitement for the West Coast!
The Food and Wine Festival will show off California’s best cuisines. This year, their grand return will proudly welcome new festival marketplaces, where foodies can taste flavors from throughout the state. The festival will also feature culinary demonstrations, visits from celebrity chefs, and opportunities to participate in informational and fun seminars.
Disneyland Resort has yet to release details about the particular events during each weekend, but stated in their press release that they will do so soon, in addition to providing information on how to reserve seats for premium experiences.
Guests at Ayres Hotel Anaheim, ALO Hotel in Orange, and Ayres Hotel Orange can easily access the ART shuttle service which brings you to and from Disneyland Resort during all park operating hours. Shuttle tickets are as low as $5 for adults and $2 for children, per day.
