Fiendish Halloween Fun at Disneyland

About 2 month(s) ago by Ayres Hotels

It's finally here! Halloween at Disneyland has arrived and there's a ton of fiendish fun to be had at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park. From now until October 31, both parks are exploding with Spooktacular Halloween decorations and tons of dreadful delights, creepy keepsakes, and frightfully fun parades. Here's our overview to the haunting adventures that await…

Disneyland

Take a walk down Main Street where you can feast your eyes upon hundreds of hand-carved pumpkins at the Pumpkin Festival.

Throughout the park you can collect photos, autographs and hugs from costumed Disney characters including Pumpkin King Jack Skellington and gal pal Sally, along with Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

In Tomorrowland, you can enjoy a ride on Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy. This year, the ride will be haunted with spooky star fields and ghostly characters in the dark.

The Haunted Mansion has undergone a macabre makeover, inspired by Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas, where you can experience dearly departed ghouls, ghosts and tons of frightfully festive touches.

Disney California Adventure Park

This year there are spooky decorations and tasty Halloween-themed treats around every corner.

Radiator Springs has been transformed to "Radiator Screams," where your favorite Cars characters are all decked out with Haul-O-Ween costumes. Mater and his tractor pals are having a Graveyard JamBOOree and Luigi's is hosting a Honkin' Haul-O-Ween dance party.

If you head over to Hollywood Boulevard in the park, you can hang out and mingle with Vampirina, the lovable little ghoul from Disney Junior's hit show.

Guardians of the Galaxy is also joining in the Halloween spirit with Monsters After Dark, where you can join Rocket Racoon in his race to rescue Groot from the crazed creatures on the loose.

Mickey's Halloween Party

This after-hour celebration takes place on selected dates in September and October and you must purchase a party ticket to attend. If you wish to enter the park three hours before party time, you will need to purchase a regular day ticket as well. These parties are extremely popular, so be sure to purchase your tickets well in advance.

Party-goers get to meet rare Disney characters, wear costumes, attend the Frightfully Fun Parade, see the spooky Halloween Screams Fireworks and go trick-or-treating.
