San Diego’s biggest culinary event and one of the nation’s largest food and wine events will be returning for its 13th year. The San Diego Wine + Food Event will be held from Monday, November 14th to Sunday, November 20th.
As one of the leading food and wine festivals in the United States, the San Diego Bay Wine + Food Festival has put San Diego's thriving food scene in the spotlight. The wide scale of culinary talent in San Diego, in addition to an international showcase of the world's top wines and spirits, plus the country’s most famous culinary masters all make the San Diego Bay Wine + Food Festival a consistently successful and can’t-miss event. The event features the city’s top restaurants and latest food trends.
The seven-day extravaganza culminates to the Lexus Grand Tasting on the Embarcadero Marina Park North behind Seaport Village on Saturday, November 19th. Take advantage of the event’s beautiful backdrop and sea breeze of the San Diego Bay, whole sampling from the grandest, most talked about wine and food festival in Southern California. The event showcases 60 of the most prominent culinary geniuses and 700 different wines will be featured. As you sip and relax, live entertainment will be adding to the festive atmosphere on both ends of the Festival and VIP tent.

- The Hearty Boys, Chicago: 12:00 p.m. to 12:15 p.m.
- Marjorie Meek-Bradley, Washington DC: 12:30 p.m. to 12:45 p.m.
- Rick Bayless, Chicago: 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- Javier Plascencia, San Diego: 1:45 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Cosmo Goss and Erling Wu-Bower, Chicago: 2:15 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The San Diego Wine + Food Event’s headliner is Chef Rick Bayless, known especially for his popular chain of restaurants, cookbooks, and program called Mexico One Plate at a Time. He will be the headline figure at the Dinner with the Culinary Icons.
