The widely acclaimed and highly recognized Amigo Guitar Show will be coming to Costa Mesa on Saturday, January 21st from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, January 22nd from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the OC Fair and Event Center. The show will arrive in Southern California right after hitting San Rafael in the Bay Area during the prior weekend.
Amigo shows are international, buy-sell-trade events, where attendees may bring all the musical instruments or related items you can carry to sell, trade, or have appraised. By getting bids from several exhibitors, attendees can quickly gauge the market value of their item, and proceed to sell or trade with complete confidence. Amigo shows are the only events that co-sponsored by Vintage Guitar Magazine, America’s leading guitar publication.
Those who are looking to buy will see everything from guitars, amps, banjos, mandolins, drums, violins, effects, memorabilia, sound gear, parts, records, books, accessories, online companies, manufacturers, retail stores, builders and repairmen, to celebrities who attend the event.
The Amigos have been in the industry since 1978, when the nation’s first national guitar show was originally held in a Dallas hotel basement. They have seen the ins-and-outs of the buy-trade-sell guitar business since the very beginning and now host shows all over the country. The Amigos have produced over two-hundred shows, including the famous Arlington, Texas show (Guitarlington) which remains the world’s largest consumer guitar event.
Ayres Hotel & Suites Costa Mesa is only a five-minute drive from the OC Fair and Event Center, where the Amigos Guitar Show will be taking place.
