Do you love baking, or at least devouring baked goods? The LA Cookie Con and Sweets Show is the perfect place for sugar aficionados. This two-day event will be held February 10th and 11th at the Anaheim Convention Center and will be attended by sugar artists, event planners, trendsetters, bloggers, press, and celebrities from around the globe. Whether you love to bake or just eat, you will enjoy a wonderful selection of sweet bites, beverages, spirits, and delicious surprises from local and national brands.
The LA Cookie Con and Sweets Show will showcase some of the best decorated cookies, cakes, and desserts from Southern California’s finest amateur and professional sugar artists. The work will not only be viewed by attendees and esteemed celebrity guests, but by millions on social media. There are four categories for this year’s entries: Animation Characters, Rock n’ Roll, Horror, and Wedding. A winner will be chosen in each category by a panel of judges and hosted by Ron Ben-Israel.
This sweet show also has something for everyone: from traditional baked goods to vegan, gluten free, and paleo options, no one will walk away hungry. Make sure you bring along your family and friends since this is an event that everyone can enjoy!
The event will also feature a stunning cake that Duff Goldman and his team at Charm City Cakes make for Saturday attendees. To watch his team assemble this remarkable cake, you can tune into “Cake Masters” on the Food Network to see the entire process.
The 2018 show will have even more exhibitors, delicious samples, freebies, classes, panels, and celebrity appearances than ever before. Best of all, 100% of all competition fees is donated to Smile Train & Cookies for Kids’ Cancer Charities.
