Leap high into springtime in Orange County’s Mission Viejo with the much-anticipated return of the city’s beloved Up in the Air Festival. The Mission Viejo Activities Committee (MVAC) will be hosting the festival on Saturday, April 16th from 1 to 4 p.m. on the city’s Green by the Norman P. Murray Community Center. As the name suggests, Up in the Air Festival: Mission Viejo Takes Flight will be featuring simply anything that goes up in the air or uses air to operate, such as balloons, bubbles, kites, pinwheels, planes, and much more!
The MVAC has a reputation for the day’s fun-filled traditions and activities, and it only aims to build upon them this year. This April’s Up in the Air Festival will involve children’s crafts, disc dog shows, entertainment, exhibitors, flying contests, nonprofit food booths, and even professional kite flyers.
The Mission Viejo wider community hopes that the festival will not only feature, but will also help grow their local nonprofits, as many will be involved in the day’s success.
