Oktoberfest in LA is in full swing with festivals and German-inspired celebrations happening all over SoCal. Two of California's biggest can be found nearby, including Oktoberfest at Old World Huntington Beach in Orange County and Alpine Village's Oktoberfest festivities in Torrance in the LA South Bay area. Traditional Bavarian foods, authentic German beer and old-world music come together with a Southern California flair all month long at these time-honored festivals.

Oktoberfest at Old World Huntington Beach Old World sets the bar for Bavarian themed fun with imported German beers, competitions, games, German bands and of course some of the best German-inspired eats anywhere in LA. Voted "Best Bratwurst" in California, Old World pairs signature fare like German Potato Salad, Sauerkraut, Strudel, Brats and Pretzels with German beers on tap, including Franziskaner, Warsteiner, Bitburger, Paulaner and Hofbrau. Every Sunday, Old World hosts a Kinderfest celebration with dance groups, a bouncy house for kids, carnival games and championship Dachsund races.

Oktoberfest at Alpine Village The longest running Oktoberfest celebration in Southern California, Alpine Village hosts German-inspired music and dancing in their big tent, where party goers can sip the finest German beers and enjoy live Oompah music. When the big tent closes down on Fridays and Saturdays, guests head to the after-party at Alpine Steinhouse Restaurant, where the merriment continues with more music and a $5 Tot Bar with an assortment of toppings.

Oktoberfest is among the most popular Orange County events, and every year travelers and tourists trek to SoCal to take part in the festivities. For easy lodging, Ayres Hotels provides accommodations just minutes from Old World Huntington Beach and Alpine Village. ALO Hotel in Orange boasts boutique-style rooms, a heated outdoor pool and easy access to Anaheim Resort Transit. Other Ayres' properties like Manhattan Beach Hawthorne, Seal Beach, Fountain Valley and Huntington Beach all put you close to this year's Oktoberfest celebrations.
