The annual LA County Fair in southern California will be bringing more than 20 days of tempting food, great entertainment, and family-friendly delights this September.
Discover exciting attractions like the Jurassic Planet dinosaur adventure, the Bodies exhibit, and the Igloo ice skating rink. Get your hands dirty milking goats, petting animals, and exploring crops at the farm. Wander through hundreds of colorful blooms at the Flower & Garden Pavilion. Enjoy cool displays of sports memorabilia at the Let the Games Begin attraction and meet your favorite storybook characters at the America’s Kids exhibit.
Plus, there are many of new activities to partake in at this year’s fair! The Millard Sheets Art Center will be presenting “One Path Two Journeys -- Judithe Hernandez and Patssi Valdez,” which will be an exploration of Latin American and Latino art in dialogue with Los Angeles. The Taylor Swift Experience gives visitors an exclusive look at the 10-time GRAMMY-winning artist. This year you can also be transported to another dimension in Wonderland: A Floral Fairy Tale -- an exhibit that pays homage to Lewis Carroll’s enchanting novel with beautiful flowers around every corner. Lastly, you can enter the realm of fantasy at the Magical World of Dragons, Wizards, and Beasts.
The LA County Fair runs from September 1-24, 2017. The fair is open from noon-10pm Wednesdays; noon-11pm Thursdays; noon-midnight Fridays; 10am-midnight Saturdays; and 10am-10pm Sundays. Single day admission is $8-$14 per person weekdays; $12-$20 per person weekends. Kids 5 and under enter free. Parking is $15 per day.
