Music festivals have become a Spring and Summer staple\r\nthroughout much of the country, especially right here in Southern California. Coachella\r\nValley Music & Arts Festival is taking over the Inland Empire’s Coachella\r\nValley this weekend, April 10-12th, as well as April 17-19th\r\nfor their second weekend. With all-star talents like Drake, AC/DC, Jack White,\r\nand The Weeknd, there is something for everyone’s taste. The fun doesn’t stop\r\nthere! The following weekend, April 24-26th, country music makes its\r\nway into the Coachella Valley with Stagecoach. Headlining that festival are Tim\r\nMcGraw, Miranda Lambert, and Blake Shelton – just to name a few. The excitement\r\nof seeing these legendary artists and more is enough to lose your mind! Or, at\r\nleast, everything you had in mind to stay sane all weekend. Not to worry! We\r\nhave the list you need so you don’t spend your weekend dreaming of what could\r\nhave been.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nOur bodies are comprised of 70% water, so keep them\r\nhydrated! It’s easy to forget simple things like staying hydrated with all of\r\nthe festivities going on around you, but this is easy and quite necessary for\r\nthe Coachella Valley. If you have a Camel Bak, we suggest dusting it off. Temperatures\r\nsometimes soar above 90 degrees Fahrenheit in Spring! Another important factor is\r\nsunscreen. Don’t forget to apply and re-apply generously to beat the burn! You’ll\r\nthank us for these simple reminders later, trust us!\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nShoes, shoes, shoes! Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are an\r\nabsolute must! It’s easy to get caught up in wanting to make a fashion\r\nstatement but your feet will appreciate proper footwear for the weekend.\r\nComfortable shoes make all the difference. Who wants to be in pain all weekend?\r\nNot us! Another good idea is a fanny pack. We know, we know. “But the 90s are\r\nover”! Well, you’ll thank us for this one as well. Fanny packs can be worn\r\nunder your shirt to help resistance against water, mud, or other liquids which\r\nmay spill on you over your festival weekend. They can hold everything you need:\r\ncell phone, debit card, cash, photo ID, sunscreen, bandages, a portable\r\ncell-phone charger (and batteries), and even a water bottle.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nRandom items you may want to consider bringing: wet napkins\r\nor baby wipes, bathroom tissue, hand sanitizer, dry shampoo, a water proof case\r\nor bag for electronics, and a disposable camera. We know you’ll want to capture\r\nevery single moment of your festival but it’s important to stay in the moment\r\nand enjoy every second of it! Bringing a disposable camera is a great idea to\r\nsave your phone’s battery (you may not have service anyway) and capture some\r\ncool “vintage” photos. Remember, be SAFE and have FUN!
