The Ride 7D is a thrilling experience for the whole family. In one exciting attraction, passengers will feel like they’re on an exhilarating rollercoaster ride, while also being able to take in the excitement of partaking in a laser blasting game.
Many may wonder what the 7 dimensions that make the eight-minute long 7D ride unique. Four of the ride’s main dimensions include motion, wind, interactivity, and scoring. And the remaining dimensions are contained in the awesome 3D glasses that riders wear.
It is an 8-passenger simulator with four different rides for guests to choose from:
- Zombies: You just graduated from the police academy. Your first night of patrol. It’s a stormy night. Just need to investigate this traffic accident… You will need to be lightning fast and think on your feet if you want to make it through your first night of work!
- Gigamon: The city is under siege. Embark on a wild chase while fighting reptilian monsters. Gigamon, an epic adventure and adrenaline rush. Collect points and stop the Gigamon before it destroys the city. A stroll in the city you will remember for a long time!
- Los Banditos: Balthazar Salazar the Mad Scientist is at it again. Now he has created an army of Cowboys to help him. An army of robot cowboys. This will get tricky! Jump on the chuck wagon, on the train, and go down the river in an American Far West wild pursuit!
- Road Fighters: It's the year 2156’ and pollution, famine, and war has brought civilization to an end. An evil group affected by the high level of radiation has been spared and are now fighting for their lives and to find food. Don't let them be your destruction!
“Had a great time here with my nephews (12 and 15 years old),” wrote Yelp.com reviewer, Eric I. “The staff was super nice and we had a lot of fun. Make sure you ask them for a discounted second ride because it is worth it. Also on some of the stories, you get a free t-shirt if you get over a certain score. Really cool group activity.”
There is no need to make a reservation. The rides operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, visitors do have the option to purchase tickets online. Currently, the Ride 7D can be experienced at the Irvine Spectrum Center. In October 2017, there will be a second location opening at the Ontario Mills Mall.
Ayres Hotel & Suites Costa Mesa is about a twenty-minute drive to the Irvine Spectrum Center.
