The Father’s Day Brunch ($69 per guest) will include a 3 course brunch Prix Fixe Plated Brunch (beverages not included). Starters will include house-made herbed focaccia with pesto and house Caesar salad. There will be three choices for the main course which include: 1) Roasted chicken provencal with grilled asparagus and red bliss potato 2) Braised short rib with garlic mashed potatoes and caramelized mushroom jus and 3) Poached salmon with dill potatoes and heirloom tomatoes. Finally, indulge in a cappuccino chocolate bombe with vanilla bean crème anglaise.
Drams for Dads ($99 per guest) will include a Father’s Day Brunch Buffet (12PM – 2PM including juices, sodas, coffee, and tea) and will be held in the Director’s Room. Included is a Scotch tasting featuring The Glenlivet single malt Scotch whisky led by Master of Scotch Rick Edwards. You will also receive a Meet & Greet with a professional horse racing handicapper, clubhouse admission, daily racing program, and live thoroughbred racing.
Let It Ride is back for a second year! This unique experience will take you trackside to view some of the sweetest rides in the Southland. A showcase dedicated to steel horses and thoroughbreds alike. With the Let It Ride Package ($25 per guest) you will be granted club-house admission, a racing program, tip sheet, 2 beer scrips, and a Let It Ride II commemorative t-shirt. Held each year on Father’s Day, the Pomona “LA Roadsters” show is a crowd favorite in the Southland. There is something for everyone at the Roadster show! Over 900 roadsters were entered in the 2014 show. All roadsters will be 1936 models or older. There will be hundreds of high quality roadsters to feast your eyes upon plus tons of vendors. For the dads who need parts for their own car restoration project, dads who simply love cars, or kids who need some educating on slick rides, you are sure to have a fun-filled day in Pomona!

Nestled at the base of the Cleveland National Forest, Santiago Creek feeds the 750 acre lake. If you’re looking to spend some quality quiet time with dad out on the lake, this is just the spot for you! Since the early 1930’s, Irvine Lake has been stocked with largemouth bass, catfish, and panfish. With the start of catfish season just behind us, dad will certainly appreciate the peaceful ambiance of the lake and will hopefully catch something worth keeping!
