The highly-anticipated Silverlake Flea Market is returning on Saturday, August 12th and will continue every second Saturday each following month. Come to the Silverlake Flea Market -- where Indie and DIY collide with vintage and collectibles.
You can attend the flea market from 12pm to 5pm and entrance is free to the general public. The market is located in the heart of Silverlake, California on the Playground of the Micheltorena St. Elementary School. Visitors can access free parking at Golden Gate, which is located behind the school.
When you arrive at the market, follow the signs and stroll through the lot, where you will find friendly and passionate local indie folk selling their collectibles. While at the market you will find hand selected vintage, handmade gems, works of art, rare vinyl, collectible turntables, and many more unique finds. Best of all, each month the flea market will feature new products, giving you the opportunity to discover something new during each visit.
In addition to browsing the collectibles, the Silverlake Flea Market will also be distributing free giveaways, hosting performances, live music acts, and free workshops for all ages. Hopefully, you will also encounter Angelyne and her infamous pink corvette -- the beloved mascot and ambassador of the Silverlake Flea Market. Lastly, there will be some delicious food available at the market to keep your taste buds satisfied as you enjoy the many activities offered.
