The Planes of Fame Air Museum is a "living history" museum. Here, the collection of aircrafts are not only preserved, but are also kept flying. In order to keep the aircrafts still shown to the public, the war birds are flown regularly. They partake in air shows, military base open houses, various events, and are even used in the making of television programs motion pictures.

The Planes of Fame Air Museum’s Chino, California location is open everyday of the week. From Sunday to Friday, the operating hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. And on Saturdays, the museum is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
