Intense and powerful, Shostakovich's masterpiece is considered one of the most difficult pieces ever composed for the instrument, which here will be played by world-renowned soloist Doniyor Zuparov. Maestro Jon Robertson conducts this stirring concert, kicking off his 33rd and final season as Redlands Symphony's music director and conductor. Arrive early to enjoy a free pre-concert lecture.
