When Frank Ayres and his son, Don Ayres Sr., began developing Ayres Hotels in the early 1900s, little did they know that their efforts would culminate in a hotel chain unlike any other. Since they were first founded, Ayres Hotels have been famous for their friendly, efficient service and their culture of caring for their guests and team members. Although Ayres has grown and developed over the years, our hotel chain has always adhered to a strong set of core values that has allowed us to thrive.
Ayres Hotel Costa Mesa was one of the first Ayres Hotels to open in Orange County, California. It was designed and executed by Don Ayres Jr. and his daughter, Allyson Ayres-D’Eliscu in the early 1980s.They intended to apply Ayres’ time-test, success-proven formula to satisfy the growing need for hotels in the Southern California area. The Costa Mesa Hotel soon became the flagship hotel for the growing collection, and for some good reasons.
To this day, Costa Mesa prides itself on being a boutique hotel that still offers the comforts of home and an inviting ambiance. When you visit Costa Mesa you can savor California cuisine with a modern twist at Le Chateau Restaurant or dine al fresco in the lush courtyard. You can also relax in our outdoor heated pool and spa and get revitalized in our fitness studio. Host your meetings and social events in 12,000 square feet of stylish event space with audiovisual and exceptional catering. Our fountain courtyard and pool area are beautiful sky-lit venues for banquets, receptions and wedding celebrations.
Ayres Hotel Costa Mesa has certainly transformed over the years to meet our guests’ needs. But our commitment to serving our guests and ensuring their loyalty is one thing that has remained the same since the early 1900s.
