Failure, Trail of Dead & Local H
One of the unheralded groups to emerge out of the alternative scene in the 1990s, Failure has long been praised for its intricate guitar work and expansive sound. After the band broke up in 1997, its members went on to do work in other projects, but the pull of the group was too great, and in 2014, Failure reunited. The group is touring to support its latest release, The Heart is a Monster, which was called a "thrilling ride" by Pitchfork.
