How to Book

Pet Policy

Acceptable Pets

  • Well-mannered dogs and cats.
  • We reserve the right to require immediate removal of any pet that displays dangerous or unacceptable behavior; including, but not limited to, biting, excessive barking/noise, evidence of disease, or urination or defecation in public areas.
  • No more than two pets may occupy each guest room.

Pet-Friendly Areas

  • A walking area on the north west side of the hotel is available for use. A waste receptacle with bags is located in this area.
  • It is your responsibility to dispose of pet waste in the receptacle provided.

Leashes

  • Pets must be leashed or held in arms in all common areas of the hotel including the pet-potty area.
  • With exception to service animals, no pets may be left unattended at any time.
  • Pets are not allowed to lounge in the courtyard, Veranda or pool area.

Pets In Room

  • The only time pets may be left in a guest room unattended is when you are visiting Polanco Modern Mexican Steakhouse.
  • At all other times of the day or night, dogs or cats cannot be left unattended in guestrooms.
  • Pets are only permitted in pet-friendly guest rooms

Housekeeping

  • Hotel policy requires all rooms to be serviced daily.
  • For the safety and comfort of your pet, Housekeeping will only enter your room when your pet is not present or your pet is kenneled.
  • Our Housekeeping staff will not be responsible for cleaning up or removing pet waste.
  • Please contact the Front Desk to schedule the best times for us to service your room.

Fees

  • There is a $100 non-refundable fee per reservation.
  • Other fees may apply for any unwarranted cleaning or damages caused by your pets in your guestroom, in public areas, or on the grounds of the hotel.
  • Unregistered pets are subject to a fine of $125.

Service Animals

  • Ayres Hotels complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and state/local laws regarding Service Animals.
  • Guests traveling with a Service Animal will not be charged a pet fee. Charges may be incurred, however, should a Service Animal damage or soil the Hotel.
  • Per the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), Emotional Support Animals (ESA) do not qualify as Service Animals as they have not been trained to perform a specific job or task.
  • Emotional Support Animals (ESA) will be charged the standard pet fee according the hotels policy. To learn more, please defer to the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) website.
